Review: Owlet Press

So recently, we received these two books in the post from Owlet Press: 'The Christmas Next Door' and 'Santa's Wish'. Already they have become firm favourites with Erin and we've read them numerous times already - luckily I am also a fan of these so will quite happily go along with that one!

Santa's Wish - Samuel Langley-Swain

Have you ever wondered what Santa would wish for...? This perfectly illustrated picture book leads to heartwarming message and should be staple reading for children at Christmas!

The Christmas Next Door - Samuel Langley-Swain and T. A. Creaser

What a beautifully told story, through rhyme, which acts as a reminder to children (and adults!) about how easy it is to get caught up in the materialistic side of Christmas. I don't want to give too much away but I love how this story subtly touches on such a wide range of important issues such as autism, loss, love and family. A genuinely heartwarming story.
