Stop right now, thank you very much – I’ve only gone and found my new favourite clothing brand. Lighthouse Clothing, designed in Belfast, is just perfect for coastal living and although we’re in the height of summer, it won’t be long before we’ll be needing jackets back on, ready for the school run. With that in mind, I thought I’d share my favourite coats, ready for the summer to autumn transition.
Top left: Emily jacket in grey – Parkas are not just for winter. Keep off the summer rain with this adjustable waist and hood, with classic parka styling.
Top middle: Short Bowling jacket in soft sun – A shorter length and minimalistic jacket in the most gorgeous yellow.
Top right: Tori striped raincoat – I do love a stripe and this jacket is just a delight with its mid-hip length and soft curved hem.
Bottom: Beachcomber jacket in midnight – Classic and nautical styling, perfect for blustery beach strolls!
But, of course, my favourite has to be the Emily coat. I love the longer length, the folded up sleeves and adjustable waist. It’s also waterproof, with big pockets (I do like a pocket!!) and such good quality. I absolutely adore the colour too – holding on to those blossom tones throughout autumn!
But what makes Lighthouse Clothing summer jackets so special?
Well, firstly their coats are style led but perfect for everyday adventuring and seaside strolls, whatever the weather. They are breathable, waterproof, wind proof, have taped seams, reinforced zips, triple-stitched seams, machine washable and have a two year guarantee… what’s not to love?! I’m also in awe of the beautiful colours they come in but had to opt for the rose coloured one to brighten up windy walks!
Check out their kids’ range too – just perfect for mini adventurers!
